Hello, I'm Donnie Berend, owner and operator of Berend Manufacturing. Although growing up in the oilfield with my Dad,I began my machinist trade at the age of 27 working and learning from one of my brothers in the same shop I'm in today. After about 5 years, I left that company and went to a larger job shop in the Wichita Falls area and soon assumed the role of production manager . My duties included both managing production and employees. At one time, managing 26 people. After 15 years of service with this company, and when the economy became poor and manufacturing companies and plants closed and or sold and moved out of the states, I thought it was time to return to what I enjoyed the most about the trade I had chosen and returned to Archer City Texas and opened the doors to my own business. I enjoy working in the oilfield and with ranchers and farmers in a community where I have many friends and family.
